Invitation

The International Workshop on Vaccine Adjuvants and Glycoconjugates is organized to discuss update aspects concerning the development of Adjuvants and Glycoconjugates of importance in human and veterinary vaccines.

The Keynotes Address, Interactive Workshops, and Poster Exhibits will give an unique opportunity for discussion and cooperation to all Colleagues from Academia, Industry, Governmental Services, and Research Institutes who are interested in sharing last experiences in these field.

We look forward to the great opportunity of welcoming you warmly at our International Workshop on Vaccine Adjuvants and Glycoconjugates in Cuba.

Call for Abstracts

The Organizers will put in the web in advance the scientific program with Keynotes Address from well-known specialist invited and with some topics from submitted abstracts selected. When sending the abstract, please indicate the Topic in which you would like to be included. Oral and Poster presentations should be clearly indicated. Cubamagica will be reserved the right of choosing oral presentation. English is the official language of the Workshop. Cubamagicaa will inform authors via e-mail about
the acceptance of presentations, not later than one month after the reception of the abstract. The program will be printed. For this reason, we encourage to provide a 250 - word abstract, as soon as possible. New Deadline for oral presentations and posters is February 10th, 2004. Authors should provide their abstract by E-mail (cubamagica@cubamagica.com) in Word format. Please capitalize the title of the abstract, then type in the author’s name(s), institution(s), city and country. The abstract should contain the purpose of the study, method used, essential results and conclusion. It should by typed in the 16 cm width by 9 cm height format. Indicate with * the presenter’s name. Workshop program will be published on the web site. The Workshop program will be also distributed with documentation on site. The presenter should provide his full name, address of institution, e-mail, fax and telephone numbers. Facilities will be available in the workshop sessions for computer assisted presentations.

Registration Fees

All delegates should pay in advance (except delegates of USA) the registration fees. The delegates of USA will pay cash during the event and it will be consider as early registration. Payment will ensure accommodation at discount price, access to all scientific activities, related documentation with program and abstracts booklet, welcome cocktail and closer activity.

Please fill up the registration form and send it by E-mail. The Workshop organizers policy is to maintain registration fees as low as possible to encourage the attendance. Deadline for early registration is February 15th, 2004:Private Sector (US$ 350), Academic and Governmental Sectors (US$ 250), Students (US$ 100) and late registration should paid: Private Sector (US$ 400), Academic and Governmental Sector (US$ 300), Students (US$ 150). Accompanying person registration (US$ 150).

Letter of Invitation

The Organizers will provide a letter of invitation to delegates, if requested, to help in obtaining funds or visas. Invitation does not imply any financial support from the Workshop Organizing Committee. The letter will be sent after confirmation of registration.
